- 2 lbs. frozen hash browns, thawed
- 3/4 cup (1/2 sticks) butter, melted and divided
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint (2 cups) sour cream (regular or light)
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
NOTE: Jane Ann said she would have liked a little more seasoning in this, but I liked it just the way it was…so, you may or may not want to use a little more salt and/or pepper to suit your taste.
